One time, while vacationing, she booked the family's accommodations online, without any photographs to indicate what quality we'd be getting. At least that was her excuse for not knowing the quality. I thought the name "Budget Host" was a good enough indication. Long story short, while I was making my bed in the back seat of the car because I vowed not to sleep in that motel, I'll never forget how much my mother enjoyed our little predicament. She would just keep looking at the rooms and laughing.
Thanks for teaching me to always enjoy whatever comes at me, Mom. Keep laughing. You always make it a fun ride.
